New: CSV and JSON Export Improvements
We've overhauled our data export pipeline to handle any export size reliably, with several formatting improvements based on customer feedback.
Faster, More Reliable Exports
Exports now run as background jobs regardless of size, so you'll never hit a timeout on a large survey. You'll get an email with a secure download link as soon as your export is ready, typically within seconds for most surveys.
Formatting Fixes
CSV exports now correctly handle free-text responses containing commas, quotes, and line breaks without corrupting the file structure. JSON exports preserve full type fidelity for numeric fields and nested answer objects.
New: Scheduled Recurring Exports
You can now schedule a recurring export (daily, weekly, or monthly) to a specified email address, useful for teams who pipe survey data into external reporting tools on a regular cadence without manual exports.
Performance at Scale
The largest export processed during our beta testing was a survey with over four million responses, completing in under three minutes thanks to the new streaming architecture. Previously, an export of that size would have timed out entirely.
